Kilsby offers comfortably  furnished accommodation with well appointed facilities to ensure that your stay is as relaxing and comfortable as possible. With only 2 guest bedrooms available, both double or twin and each with private bathroom facilities (robes provided) you can be sure of a personalised service at all times. Both rooms are spacious with room for a third bed and/or travel-cot if required and one room has a super king-size bed (please request in advance).

The House B&B facilities are currently 'Visit Wales' graded 4-star standard and highly rated on 'Trip-Advisor', 'Booking.com' and 'Late Rooms'.

The gardens surrounding Kilsby are available for you to enjoy with paths to well-planted flower beds, a fish-pond, butterfly garden, bog-garden and numerous other features. Outside seating is strategically placed to allow close observation of the wide variety of birds which visit our feeders and to enjoy the magnificant views from our elevated position. A wide variety of wildlife is either resident or visits the garden and many birds nest close to the house, including both spotted and pied flycatchers.

 A welcoming Entrance Hall with the Guest Breakfast Room and Open Plan Guest Living Room immediately adjacent. Take in the stunning views to the front of the house down to the river Irfon and browse the comprehensive selection of tourist information leaflets available. Several circular walks are available directly from the front door taking in magnificant views of the Epynt Range and the Brecon Beacons in the distance. Visit us in Spring and enjoy the magnificant flowering bulb display followed by stunning colour from the many varieties of Rhodedendron and Azalea shrubs

Extensive outdoor seating is available both on the front terrace of the house and in secluded areas around the garden which you are free to explore. In fine weather there is no better place to sit and enjoy the magnificant views to the front of the house and look for red kites soaring overhead.

The Guest Living Room 

Enjoy a relaxing and hearty Kilsby Breakfast in the Guest Breakfast Room whilst taking in those magnificent views across the upper Irfon Valley. Look for Red Kites in the valley and a host of other birds which flock to our regularly filled bird feeders. The emphasis is on good quality locally sourced food and plenty of it! Many lasting friendships have been made over the breakfast table and a warm, welcoming atmosphere is guaranteed.

Plan your days in a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere in the guest living room using the large amount of information available on local facilities, attractions and things to do. Freesat TV and video / DVD facilities are available here (as well as in your rooms) if you wish to curl up in front of a log fire and watch a favourite TV programme or film over a glass or two. We also have a large selection of board games and jigsaws for your use and a wide variety of books and magazines to browse through ensuring that you will never be bored even if the weather turns inclement.

If we join you it is because we want to ensure you are getting the most out of your stay but please don't be offended if we retire to our private living room to watch our favourite TV programmes.

The Guest Double Bedroom is equipped with a flat-screen digital colour TV/DVD combo, tea and coffee making facilities and hairdryer. This spacious room also contains bedside lockers, a dressing table with stool, towel stand, a separate chair and ample wardrobe space. It also has an additional single bed if required as a family room and in addition will accommodate a fold-up bed or cot for a small child on request. the view from the window is to the garden courtyard and woodland edge with well-stocked bird-feeders.

The Guest King-Sized Bedroom has similar facilities and can be converted to twin beds with an optional third bed if required. Also with a view to woodland edge and well-stocked bird feeders at the rear of the house.

Private lockable bathroom facilities are adjacent to each guest room and bath robes are provided. You will either have access to a large single bathroom with bath, shower-fitting, basin and toilet or separate walk-in shower room with basin and a separate toilet as appropriate to your needs. The construction of the house does not lend itself to en-suite facilities but rest assured that at no time will you be expected to share. A significant benefit of this arrangement is that all guest facilities are spacious and roomy and this is appreciated by many of our regular guests.
